Privacy Policy

We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other personal detail. There are no accounts and no newsletter, and no page asks you to type anything, so nothing you type is sent to us.

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we run no retargeting pixels, social media trackers, session recording or heat mapping. Nothing on this site today sends information about your visit to Esyoh; the Advertising section below says where that stands.

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. No Google Analytics is loaded, and no script from Esyoh or any other advertiser is loaded either.

This site earns money from sponsored school listings served by Esyoh, at esyoh.com, an advertising network for schools. Where a page carries them, they are marked as ads and sit apart from the rankings, the program cards and the tables; the About, Methodology, Privacy and Terms pages carry none.

No Esyoh code runs on this site. No page loads a script, a frame or a form from Esyoh, so this site sends Esyoh nothing about your visit and stores nothing in your browser for it.

One thing, and it is not a cookie. The site follows your system’s light or dark setting. If you use the toggle in the header to choose one yourself, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key “fo-theme”, so the site does not flash the wrong colors the next time you open it. That value never leaves your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser’s storage removes it.

This site is served as static files by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which keeps standard access and security logs. Those logs are how any web host tells a real visitor from an attack, and they are handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors. The fonts and images on every page load from this site, not from a third party.

Program cards link to schools’ own sites, and the pages cite the American Psychological Association’s accredited programs directory, APPIC’s match statistics, ASPPB’s exam scores, the federal IPEDS and College Scorecard files, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the state boards of psychology whose rules they describe. Once you follow one of those links you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy policy and with their trackers, not ours. We have no control over what they collect and take no responsibility for it.

This site earns money from sponsored school listings served by the education ad network Esyoh, which are marked as ads wherever they appear. Schools pay to appear in those listings, not in the rankings: a listing is not scored, and no listing can change a ranking. Rankings come from published records, and program details from each school’s own published pages.

To be precise about what that means: the links in the rankings are plain outbound links to schools’ own sites and to the sources we cite. We do not operate lead forms and we pass no visitor information to schools or to Esyoh. If that ever changes, this policy and the disclosure will change with it, and the date at the top of this page will move.

This site is written for people choosing a doctoral program and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.

Privacy laws, including the GDPR in Europe and the UK and the CCPA and CPRA in California, give you rights to access, correct, delete and port personal data an organization holds about you, and to object to its processing. We do not hold personal data about visitors ourselves.

If you write to us, we keep that email so we can reply to it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time. To use any of these rights, or to ask what we hold, write to hello@savomediagroup.com.

This site shares no visit data with Esyoh or any other advertising partner.

If what we collect changes, this page changes first and the date at the top moves. The cases most likely to trigger that are turning on analytics and a change to the advertising.
